Walter was a pink eyed white.
Walter and his two friends Cicero and Lawrence came to me from a woman in Norwich. See Lawrence's page for their story.
Walter was a calm, merry little rat, and quickly began to get back to good condition once here.
Walter died suddenly one day, though he was quite old by this time so it wasn't totally unexpected. I performed a post mortem on him and discovered the most likely cause of his death was a kidney related problem, as is so common in older male rats.
Why Walter? Jon and I agreed on the name Walter after his granddad.
